While posting several times a day can work for some brands, you’ll need to decide if such a strategy will work for you. Normally, I recommend posting 1-2 times per day. The best part about hashtags is that Instagram allows you to use up to 30 in one post. I would recommend including them in a comment instead of in your caption, as they can be distracting. Don’t worry about getting “carried away” with hashtags, as they can help more people find your profile.

Another fun and engaging way to use hashtags is to create a hashtag unique to your brand. Your followers can use this hashtag when they share your products, and then you can share those photos on your own feed – free advertising. Using hashtags is perhaps one of the easiest steps you can take to bring more traffic to your Instagram.
